We are pleased to announce that Katrin Kaarna has joined the Empire United Girls Academy Technical Staff for the 2021-22 season. Kaarna will be assisting with the leadership of our Girls Pre-Academy Zone 1 Program as the Director, in addition to coaching within our Girls Academy Program.
Kaarna, a UEFA PRO License holder & USSF A License (Candidate) has spent 20+ years coaching in Europe and the United States. She holds a master’s degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences from University of Tartu in Estonia. Kaarna has experience working with all levels of player development from International Coaching with the Estonia Women’s National Team through U12 players in Zone 1. She also brings an extensive background of what it takes to compete on a professional and international level. Her experiences as an international player with the Estonia Women’s National Team will be invaluable to the girls at Empire United.
