Over the weekend of December 8/9, 2018, the Empire United Rochester 01/02 Girls won the TOP bracket at the PA Classics Girls Winter Showcase in Manheim, Pennsylvania.

Boasting a 3-0 record for the weekend, the group conceded NO goals in three matches, with credit for all three shutouts to Cat Wall.  Goals from Emily Parker (2), Kelsey Fuller, and Nicole Grichen secured the three victories and the Showcase title.  

Scores were as follows:

• 1-0 win over Central Virginia United (Fuller)
• 1-0 win over Unity 01 Girls Elite (Parker)
• 2-0 win over Century V Red (Grichen, Parker)

Coach Shufelt and Coach Tadal's group also finished as runners up at the Capital Classic in Virginia in November.
